Seashells for my Christmas decorations!!

I've been thinking what can I do...how can I decorate my bathroom for the season, without loosing the Floridian, beachee style I love so much and that also is the accent of my apartment.  Well I came with this idea.  I painted this seashells using craft paint and glitter glue.  I can now fill my mini baskets with the painted shells in the season colors and still keep the tropical ambiance.

After I clean them I add a coat of clear glue and let it dry, to prepare the surface for color.  Then I applied these colors and others I don't show here.

I applied two different techniques here for two different finished.  With the paint still fresh on the shell, I applied the glitter glue for a more creamy finished.  For the other one I waited until It dried and then applied the glimmer mist for a more "sparkling" effect.
And this is what I got . In the second image the creamiest ones are in the left low corner.  Do you see the difference?

A fabric bouquet

I spent the final hours of this beautiful sunny afternoon watching State fair (1945) and making this flowers that I learn to make from a Youtube tutorial @"annettelabedski".  She is very clever and I love her tutorials because they are so simple and she is a good teacher.  It's easy to follow her.  All of her creations turn out to be pretty things that I can always include in my pages and books.  Thanks Mrs. Annette.  Please visit her channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/annettelabedzki100?feature=watch

A closer look to that BD card for BBF

I used one of the flowers I made last week, using paper bag and newspaper pages, gems, and feathers....and perfect pearls for some shimmer.  Blue is her favorite color, so I decided to combine blue and yellow in different gamas.  I stamped the Happy birthday in the top corner and embellished the interior with a butterfly gem, and some decorative paper.  Can't share with you because I already wrote a PM for her eyes only.   I hope I can bring a smile to her face with this card.   Happy Birthday Omayra.

Productive, scary flower blossom day

Busy today watching ( TCM TV), mystery films from Mr. Alfred Hitchcock..Dial M for murder and other classics from 1940's.  While I watched those amazing movies..I made these flowers...I will call it a productive day

These where cut by MsMaria990, I added the breads and the gems. luv U María

This I made with flower petals and cover the edge with stickles..or was it glitter glue? Hum!!!????  the center is made with paper
MsMaria990 these where the cuts you sent me, I covered them with water color.
This was made with fabric from an old dress, and pearls in different metallic colors.  The edge was carefully burned using a candle to give it that rounded, bold look.

 Made using only fabric

Christmas Accordion

This is an accordion mini book, Made for my sister's son..My adorable nephew, Diego.  It's his second Christmas...and I want her to have a cute minibook to save those pictures she is going to take, altogether with journaling.  Hope she likes it.

Glimmer misted small images and adhere on top of the one on the paper

Hand made paper flowers using glimmer mist.  Some of the Christmas balls I cut from another scrap of the same paper and the covered with glossy accents and stick it using foam tape to create dimension.

Stamping and then covered with perfect pearls in gold

I'm sorry this one us blurry.... this word reads Memories.
Mini pages in the corner for journaling.

These flowers where made using the same technique that [selectionsbyER] used in her video "paperbag flowers tutorial", except with a small variation which is, instead of dying with distress inks I used perfect pearls and a similar rose "fuchsia"craft paint. Also, I made them a bit flat because of the project where I am going to put them.  I want to thank Ellen Rose for sharing her creativity with all of us, specially me.

The final bouquet
Perfect pearl powder in Bronze around the edge

Same here but I used the gold.  To be able to adhere the Perfect Pearl to the paper I sprayed water all over and with a brush I applied the powder in the edge.

I sprayed some of these flowers with glimmer mist

For a final touch I add feathers to make it more cute.  Feathers are so chulin!!!I love feathers, and pearls, and anything that sparkles...so girlish jijiji
