One of the greatest things in layouts...and scrapbooking, and Journals and all that...is that these vehicles are a great opportunities to share with the world our experiences in life. Whether good or bad.
In scrapbooking, the layouts allow us to immortalize people. Somehow, once you made it to a layout, you are there for ever. I am very honored to present to the world a woman of God. A woman that served her Lord through her job, making it better for the children that attended her class. Such a wonderful human and teacher. Mrs. Acevedo. We are very thankful to you...for what you did in our lives. Love you 4 ever!

I mentioned before, that I've been entertained making embellishment clusters for my 12 x 12 layouts. That is so therapeutic and also have fun doing it. A sense of completion and a satisfaction that nothing is wasted, always accompany me afterwards. ;-) . Now I'm also doing a lot of embellishments, smaller ones. using those tiny, itty bitty die cuts, and shapes and scraps. Here is a few.

I had so much fun putting together the embellishment cluster, that's on the right hand side. I've been doing a lot of those lately. I does speed up the process of putting a layout together. Super fun!
This is a memory I never want to forget. My mother crocheting for me. My mom is not the type of person that you will imagine doing this...so it was double special. A great memory.

Because that's what I do when I go to the beach. Not sure if its the sea breeze but sitting there, watching the come and go of the waves, the serene/therapeutic sound of the beach makes me dream of the future. This picture was taken by a person I loove so much, Israel, aka Win. He was walking on the beach and his shadow, was perfectly capture. He has such an eye for capturing interesting stuff. Is not the first pic I use from his collection, and i'm sure it wont be the last. Thanks honey!
