Greeting Card

Digital fever

I've been a hybrid scrapbooker, since I learned to use Photoshop (cant remember when).  Lately, I have found opportunity in my hectic agenda to do a few digital layouts.  My scrap room area runs from very limited to non existent.  All my scrapbooking materials are perfectly saved in plastic bins, cabinets and drawers, and I have to bring everything out to my dining room when I am going to do my things.   Once done, everything goes back in place and then into the walking closet.  So it's very inconvenient when I feel like doing something, but I don't want to make a mess.  That's when digital scarpbooking comes into the picture. Here are a few of my digi layouts.

Oda to Frindship- After 30 years

Have you ever stopped and look around your network, and discovered that you have friends that have been in your life for so many years.  Are you still friend with your high school pals.  These three persons have been in my life for 29 years or more.   I celebrate their presence, and I am happy because I can count on them.  Having such friends is a blessing.  It is not the first time I make a layout about their friendship, but it is the first one celebrating 30 years of friendship.  I still have a few more to do with others, but I will do that later in the week.

Altered Diary

I was in need of a new diary..I've been documenting my life since the 80's. This time, I decided to be a little more creative and alter my diary pages. I've never done that before, in fact I have bought the Condé Nast (discontinued now) which comes already altered and in other occasions have bought special paper like (linen paper) to compose my own diaries. I have used all sort of options in the market, but the 8.5 x 11 seems to be more adequate in terms of room for journaling and memorabilia that I always incorporate in my diaries and of course, comfort for writing. This time, I bought a nice notebook, 8.5 x 11, and decided to alter the pages. Here are some pics with the stamps, die-cuts, rub-ons, washi taped, mini banners and other things I have incorporated. This is going to be fun.  I highly recommend you to document your life, not only in layouts and picture albums, but in diaries. It has many benefits.
